CareRatingHub ("we," "us," "our") operates the website at careratinghub.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information you provide: When you submit the advertise inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), facility name, and placement preferences. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Automatically collected information: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data, including pages viewed, time on site, device type, and approximate location (city/region level). This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.
All nursing facility data displayed on CareRatingHub comes from the CMS Provider Data Catalog, a public dataset maintained by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We do not collect, store, or modify this data — it is queried in real time from the CMS API.
Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not use any other tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Advertising inquiry submissions are retained in email only for as long as needed to respond to and fulfill the request. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google's default settings.
You may request deletion of any personal information you've submitted by emailing vernon@vernonross.com. We will respond within 30 days.
CareRatingHub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
